The Mind Mirror

We don’t interact with life as it is, but rather with our default creation of it—the mental projections, stories, and judgments that cloud our perception. This is a deeply human tendency, yet it is also the root of much suffering, misunderstanding, and disconnection.

Interacting with Our Stories

Default creation refers to the automatic, often unconscious ways we interpret and perceive the world. When we interact with others, we often don’t engage with the person in front of us—we engage with the idea of them that we’ve created in our heads. Our past experiences, judgments, emotions, and assumptions shape this idea.

For example, when we’re angry with someone, we may have countless internal arguments with them in our heads—replaying past conversations or imagining future conflicts. When we eventually interact with the person, we no longer see them as they are. We see our mental projection of them, shaped by our anger, hurt, or frustration. The real person and the projected one become indistinguishable in our minds, and we interact with the projection rather than the person.

The Mirror of Self-Judgment

This tendency to engage with projections rather than reality applies to how we see ourselves as well. When we look in the mirror, we often don’t see ourselves as we truly are. Instead, we see a reflection filtered through the lens of our internal judgments and insecurities.

We might see ourselves as too fat, too thin, too ugly, or not enough in some way. But what we’re really seeing is not the physical reflection itself—we’re seeing the projection of our internal image, which is shaped by our beliefs, fears, and societal conditioning. The mirror, in this sense, becomes a reflection of our internal narrative, not our true self.

Letting Go of Mental Projections: Creating Ourselves from Nothing

When we create ourselves from nothing, we let go of these mental projections and stories. We release the narratives we’ve built about others, and ourselves, and create space for our true being to emerge. This is the essence of pure creation—it’s not about rearranging or fixing the stories in our heads, but about letting them go entirely.

When we let go of these stories, we allow our being to express its true nature without constraints. This is a state of unbridled expression, where we’re no longer limited by the judgments and mental projections that have been holding us back. In this state, we connect with a deeper truth—a truth that is based on love, not fear, judgment, or comparison.

This truth based on love is more real than anything we can see in the mirror or in our heads, because it comes from our core essence, not from the stories we’ve been told or the experiences we’ve been through. In this space of pure being, we see life, others, and ourselves more clearly, free from the distortions of our mental projections.

Projecting from Love

If we are going to project, we should project consciously—and from love. This is where the power of pure creation comes in. Instead of unconsciously projecting our fears, judgments, and insecurities onto others and ourselves, we can choose to project from love.

Conscious projection is about intentionally creating a vision of others, ourselves, and the world that is rooted in love, possibility, and potential. It’s about seeing the best in people, even when their actions don’t immediately reflect it. It’s about giving others, and ourselves, the A+ upfront—seeing the potential for growth, healing, and transformation, rather than being stuck in judgment or condemnation.

When we project from love, we shift our entire experience of reality. We no longer interact with the distorted stories in our heads; instead, we engage with the essence of the person or situation in front of us. This allows for true connection, understanding, and transformation to take place.

The Freedom of Pure Creation: Choosing Love Over Judgment

Pure creation means we are no longer bound by the default stories we’ve been carrying around. We become free to choose how we see and interact with the world. And when we create from a place of love, we align ourselves with a deeper truth of who we are.

This freedom allows us to move beyond the limiting projections of the past and the fears of the future. It opens up a space where infinite possibilities exist, where we can see ourselves and others as limitless and good, simply because we choose to. In this state of pure creation, we are no longer reacting to life—we are consciously creating it.

Seeing Beyond the Stories in Our Heads

Most people engage with life through the filter of their default creations—the stories, judgments, and projections that shape their perception. But when we let go of these mental projections, we create space for our true nature to emerge. We stop interacting with the stories in our heads and start engaging with the reality of the present moment, with others, and with ourselves.

Creating ourselves from nothing means stepping away from the habitual narratives and judgments that cloud our perception. It means choosing to project consciously from a place of love and possibility, rather than from fear or judgment. When we do this, we allow the truth of who we are—our being—to express itself in an unbridled, authentic way.

In this space of pure creation, we discover a deeper truth that is more real than any reflection in the mirror or any story in our heads. We realize that we are not defined by our past, our judgments, or our projections. We are creators of our reality, and we have the power to create from a place of love, freedom, and infinite potential.
